Terms of service

Welcome to Clover Lane Farmstead. We're a small family farm just outside Cookeville, Tennessee, raising pasture-raised, soy-free, organic-fed chicken. By placing an order on cloverlanefarmstead.com, you agree to the terms below.

Our products. We sell food raised and processed on a working family farm. Availability changes with the season and the flock, and exact pack weights and contents can vary a little from what's pictured or described — that's the nature of real, hand-raised chicken. Some of our products (such as bone broth) are produced in a private residence that is exempt from state licensing and inspection.

Orders and pricing. All prices are in U.S. dollars. We may update prices and product offerings at any time, but we'll always honor the price on an order you've already placed and paid for. We may cancel and refund an order if a product becomes unavailable.

Local pickup. All orders are local pickup only at the location in our Shipping & Pickup Policy. Responsibility for the product — including keeping it properly cold — passes to you at the time of pickup.

Subscriptions. Our subscription boxes (such as The Couple's Box and The Family Box) are recurring monthly purchases. When you subscribe:

  • Your payment method is automatically charged each month at the price and frequency shown at checkout.
  • Your first 6 months are a commitment. Every subscription starts with a required 6-month term — six monthly boxes, billed once a month. We plan our flock around the subscribers we commit to, so the full term runs without pause or skip: during those first 6 months the subscription can't be paused or cancelled, and by signing up you're agreeing to all six boxes.
  • After 6 months, you're month-to-month. Once your initial term is complete, your subscription renews automatically on a month-to-month basis. From then on you're free to pause or cancel anytime from your account (or by emailing info@cloverlanefarmstead.com) before your next box is billed.
  • We may pause or end a subscription, too. We're a small family farm, and now and then weather, flock health, or simple supply can keep us from filling every box — especially once you're month-to-month. If we're ever unable to continue your subscription, we'll let you know, we won't charge you for a box we can't deliver, and we'll refund anything you've already paid toward a box we can't fill. We'll always give you as much notice as we can.
  • Charges already processed for a box in progress aren't refundable except as described in our Refund & Return Policy.

Refunds and quality. Our Refund & Return Policy is part of these terms and covers how we handle quality issues, missed pickups, and refunds.

Your account. If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity that happens under it.

Doing our best, honestly. We put real care into raising and handling your food. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Clover Lane Farmstead isn't liable for indirect or incidental losses, and our total responsibility for any order is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here takes away rights you have under law that can't be waived — including, where they apply, your rights as a consumer.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.

Changes. We may update these terms from time to time; the version posted here is the one that applies.
